Welcome
    The Wireless Research Group at IIT Madras (WRG-IITM) involves ten faculty and research scholars from the EE department, collaboratively pursuing cutting-edge research in various aspects of wireless communications, systems and networks.
    Currently, the WRG-IITM has more than 140 members including 20 PhD scholars, two dozen MS scholars,
60+ project staff, and several MTech and BTech students working on various topics including:
Broadband wireless transceiver algorithms for MIMO-OFDM, W-CDMA, HSPA technologies with a focus on interference mitigation and channel estimation for achieving high spectral efficiency,
link-level and system-level performance analysis of 3G/4G cellular systems, adaptive signal processing, information theory, robust estimation and detection, network coding, MAC and resource allocation, wireless security, co-operative communications, QoS aware scheduling, ad-hoc networks, cognitive MAC & PHY processing, covert communications.
